1. Open the Wallet app.
2. Tap the plus icon (+) in the upper right corner.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your Motor City Flex Card.

1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Go to the My Watch tab. If you have multiple watches, choose one.
3. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add Credit or Debit Card.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your Motor City Flex Card.

Apple Pay using your Motor City Flex Card works wherever Interac® Flash is accepted. Just look for the Interac® Flash logo or contactless symbol at the checkout. Some stores will also display the Apple Pay logo. Please note, some merchants with older POS terminals may have trouble with processing payments via mobile wallets but it does not hurt to try if the Interac® Flash logo is present!

If using an iPhone 8 or earlier with Touch ID, rest your finger or thumb on the home button and hold the top of your iPhone within a few centimetres of the contactless reader. You will see Done and a checkmark on the display letting you know your payment was approved. If vibration and sounds are enabled, you will feel a subtle vibration and hear a beep.

To pay with an iPhone X or later, double-click the side button, then glance at iPhone to authenticate with Face ID or enter your passcode. Hold the top of your iPhone within a few centimetres of the contactless reader until you see Done and a checkmark on the display.

With an Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch within a few centimetres of the contactless reader. Wait until you feel a gentle tap. You will see Done and a checkmark on the display letting you know your payment was approved.

Some apps and websites may offer Apple Pay when the Apple Pay logo is present at checkout. Currently, your Motor City Flex Card can only be used for online and in-app payments via a mobile wallet for Canadian merchants that have Interac Debit e-Commerce payments enabled. Select the Apple Pay option and see if your Motor City Debit card is available. More information and a current listing of merchants can be found below.

International online and in-person transactions that use the Mastercard® network are also not currently available to be done through Apple Pay. This is why you won’t see the Mastercard® logo on the mobile wallet card image.

For any Mastercard® transaction types not currently supported through the mobile wallets, please use your physical card for these transactions.
