Big news from Motor City Community Credit Union
Drake Reid named new CEO
WINDSOR, ON — September 1, 2026 — We’re excited to share that Drake Reid has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Motor City Community Credit Union.
Drake is no stranger to the credit union, having been part of the MCCCU family for 25 years and serving as our Chief Financial & Risk Officer since 2023. He brings a deep understanding of our members, our team, and the Windsor-Essex community we’re proud to call home.
On the recent decision Drake stated: “Motor City Community Credit Union has always been built on relationships and a genuine commitment to our members. I’m honoured to step into this role and lead an organization that means so much to this community.”
As CEO, Drake will focus on protecting the values that have made MCCCU who we are, while continuing to improve our products, services, and overall member experience. His goal is simple: help members feel supported at every stage of their financial journey.
“Drake understands that our success is about more than numbers — it’s about the people and community we serve every day,” said Bill Marra, Chair of the Board of Directors. “His leadership, financial expertise, and deep connection to MCCCU make him the right person to guide us into this next chapter.”
Under Drake’s leadership, MCCCU will continue to do what it does best: offer personalized service, build strong relationships, and support the Windsor-Essex community.
“The way people bank is changing, but our purpose hasn’t,” Drake added. “We’ll keep building on the trust our members have placed in us while looking for new ways to make banking easier, more convenient, and more personal.”
We’re proud to welcome Drake into this new role and excited for what’s ahead as MCCCU continues its legacy as Windsor Born & Bred.
